Our Founder
Mat Zero was founded by Sri Hollema.
Growing up overseas, with humanitarian parents, Sri had the unique perspective of witnessing the daily challenges faced by vulnerable communities in regions with little access to reliable energy and safe heating.
She saw families living in ill-equipped shelters, relying on hazardous and inefficient heating methods and realised these were not only challenging but dangerous. This experience impacted Sri deeply and inspired her to find safer, sustainable solutions. Her passion for the environment and design innovation, and a personal drive to make a difference, led her to develop Mat Zero.
If not working on Mat Zero, you’ll find Sri on a bicycle, running around an athletics track or working on creative products.
