The Mat Zero system is designed with three modular components: a heated product, an energy hub and solar panels. These components can work together or independently, providing unmatched flexibility for various needs and environments. This versatility allows the system to operate entirely off-grid.
The mat can be powered by the energy hub, a portable battery that can itself be recharged using solar panels, ensuring sustainable and off-grid functionality. Alternatively, the mat can be plugged directly into existing electrical infrastructure where available. Designed to provide warmth directly to the user, the mat embodies the energy-efficient principle of ‘heat the person, not the space’, allowing users to sit or lie comfortably while enjoying warmth from the ground up.

The Energy Hub.
Mat Zero’s energy hub is designed to store electrical power so that the mat can be used when disconnected from the grid with a capacity of 1KWh, providing up to 8 hours of mains and solar. It can also charge mobile phones and power a light.
