Russia’s continued attacks on the energy grid have destroyed more than 60% of the country’s power infrastructure (Financial Times, Oct 2025). Although it has faded from the headlines, the war is not slowing down.
Strikes on civilian and energy infrastructure continue daily, leaving millions exposed. This winter has been brutal. Families are already struggling in freezing homes, with power cuts lasting hours, sometimes days. The elderly, children, and displaced people are most at risk.
